We went in here to eat, warm up and have some drinks prior to Fillmore concert. We were avoided at the bar for way too long (not even busy) then to bring drinks seemed to be a distraction to them. We finally got the chance to order n food (sliders) w fries was enough for us 3 girls delish but not service. Sorry but true Try them anyway may be better service

Empty place during the week, but the bartender was worth grabbing the pizza and a drink. Had a couple beers before we came and got our diners while we're out here for work. Think the bartenders name was Kayla or something like that. Work doesn't cover the tips on the work credit card so I got a beer on my personal card because she was one of the better bartenders I've dealt with. Great selection on tap too. Just too small of a pizza for the price. Luckily work is paying for it.

Brass Rail Pizza Bar is a go-to spot for us when we're in Detroit for concerts and sporting events since it's close to Little Caesars Arena and the stadiums. They also usually take reservations via OpenTable, which is really helpful when you have a large group or want to make sure you can get a table before an event. Recently we stopped in before the Incubus show at LCA and grabbed a bite to eat. Our group of four was seated right away and we chose to sit on the patio which is out front on the sidewalk. The menu has pizza, salads, burgers, and tons of beer on tap. Nate got a personal sized build your own pizza, which we shared. The pizza was tasty and a great size for a light dinner. The personal size (9") pizza starts at $12 which isn't bad. Our food was pretty quick to come out and the only issue was being asked for money while sitting out on the sidewalk patio. Not a huge deal but I know some people might be put off by that. Sidenote, once we came here before a Red Wings game and sat at a table near Flavor Flav! That was super fun and he was taking photos with people.

Came up for a tigers game but it was cancelled so we stopped here. Very close to the field. Open to the sidewalk and outdoor seating. Gotta say I judged when I first went in bc there was a smell. But the food was very good! Pizza is not Detroit style. I got Brussel sprouts, cheese bread, and the blt pizza. Everything was very good. Cheese bread was the best. Had a crispy crust. Came with Mariana and ranch. Blt pizza was good but wish there was a tad more bacon. Good beer list!

Stopped in with a group of work buddies and we ordered several pizzas and they were super good! They had a good selection of beers too which my team liked as well, definitely a plus. I would definitely come back again for sure.

Based on the reviews, I wasn't expecting the pizza to be as good as it was. It's not the best pizza in Detroit, but it's definitely great pizza. I like that you can customize pizzas. The beer selection is vast and good. Service was friendly and the wait was not long. A good pizza option in downtown Detroit!
